So here I am. Second year into the Interaction Design programme at Umeå University, and I finally got around to making a website.
The push came from Umeå Game Conference — I won tickets after placing in a game jam with some friends back in October. It's a B2B conference, and standing in a room full of talented developers made one thing clear: you need something to point people to. So I made a website. Groundbreaking stuff, I know. But the site isn't meant to be the thing that stands out — the hope is that the projects I put here, and the occasional thought, might turn a few heads.
It's also just a place to keep track of what I'm building. 3D printing, Minecraft plugin development, game development, server tinkering.
On the near-term list: polish up the game jam entry to something that can actually be played from start to finish. I just need to get the team together and draw up a plan.
Until next time.
